Playing with water.... and electricity...

We like satisfied customers - and Aquavision just keep coming back for more.
They liked the tv with water droplets so much, they asked if they could have a shot of water being thrown at the tv. (Don't do this at home, these are specially designed tvs!!!!). Given that high voltage electricity and water do not go together especially well, the only option was to shoot outside. Oh, and because of the highly reflective surfaces, it also had to be dark. The set also had to be rebuilt, minus the bath and the model.

I'm really not sure what the neighbours must have made of it all.......

Product photography - is it just an illusion?

More product photography of Aquavision's waterproof televisions saw Weston Digital Imaging back in the studio to create the image you see below.  With the expertise of Mark Thompson of Thompson Build a delightful bathroom setting was recreated in the studio, complete with wall mounted television and model relaxing in her bath.

Using complex lighting and some very creative thinking the images were shot on time and in budget, ready to go to print the same night.

From a photographic point of view they say the camera never lies- but it can look a hell of a lot different from another angle!  Can you spot the ironing board?

Another Royal Photographic Society success!

Not only has Julie Laot, of the Lindow Photographic Group, become our Photographer of the Year but she has also been accepted into the Royal Photographic Society.   Her portfolio was praised for the delicate lighting, styling and expertise shown. Plus the RPS has requested to retain the photographs as an example of best practice.

Well done Julie!

Product photography from Weston Digital Imaging

Our latest product photography shoot for Aquavision televisions turned out to be more interesting than one would expected.

‘How hard can it be to photography televisions I hear you say? ‘

Well think of modern flat screen TVs as just one big mirror.  Stick a camera in front and all you can see is yourself staring straight back, not to mention everything else that is around you.

‘Well that's easy, you can just Photoshop yourself out, you say.’

But what happens when you add water to showcase the fact that these TVs are waterproof?  There is no way you can Photoshop reflections out without destroying the water effect.
And this is where 27 years of professional experience come in and why Weston Digital Imaging always succeeds with photographic  problems to produce superb, high, quality creative images that are produce in time and in budget for the client.

Need product photography? Why go anywhere else.
